Meghan Duchess of Sussex in talks for Guy Ritchie series in UK, person familiar says

(CNN) — Meghan, Duchess of Sussex could be making a big return to acting.

Meghan is in talks to possibly join the third season of Guy Ritchie’s “The Gentlemen,” which shoots in the UK, a person familiar with ongoing discussions tells CNN.

While discussions are ongoing, no deal is in place. “The Gentlemen,” which stars English actor Theo James, has not yet officially been renewed for a third season. The second season debuts on Netflix next month.

CNN has reached out to multiple representatives for the Duchess of Sussex and her Archewell Productions, in addition to a representative for Ritchie. Netflix declined to comment.

Deadline, which was first to report the news of Meghan being offered a part in “The Gentlemen,” cautioned that “the conversations are hypothetical at this point” and noted that “no role has been identified so far.”

News of the former actress’s possible return to the screen comes as she and her husband Prince Harry are set to move back to the UK with their two young children.
