Desert Healthcare District and Desert Care Network offer assistance with health insurance enrollment

Residents who have insurance plans that may not automatically renew are also required to re-enroll.
The Desert Healthcare District is partnering with Desert Care Network, and together, both organizations will provide assistance with enrollment through the exchange plan.
On Saturday, November 22nd, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., and in-person enrollment event will be held at the Regional Access Project Foundation in Palm Desert, located at 41550 Eclectic Street.
CEO of Desert Healthcare District Chris Christensen says, "We want to ensure that all people have access to health care coverage. And so, any way that they can get to have this coverage and maintain their health insurance coverage, especially in today's environment, is very important."
Free assistance enrollment is also available by phone in order to connect residents with insurance brokers. The number to call is 760-386-6183 to speak to a certified application counselor.
