Robin the robot helps provide comfort for hospital patients

In this week's Living Healthy segment, we are looking at an AI robot that's helping provide comfort and care for patients, including right here in California.

The pint-sized robot is powered by artificial intelligence. She might look like a toy, but she was built for. More than fun, the bot is named Robin, and she is the chief happiness officer.

Robin roams the halls of hospitals programmed to act like a little girl, not just to entertain, but to connect, giving emotional support to patients, young and old, during stressful medical stays.
