Drivers Busted With Marijuana In East Valley
US Border Patrol agents made two big drug busts in the east valley Thursday.
Agents report about 71 pounds of marijuana were seized just after12 PMat the Highway 86 checkpoint.
About an hour later, 23 pounds of cocaine were seized at the Highway 111 checkpoint with an estimated value of over $700,000.
The drivers of both of the vehicle are now in custody and awaiting charges.
