Villagefest Returns To Downtown Palm Springs
A popular street fair in downtown Palm Springs will return to its regular autumn schedule beginning today.
Villagefest, a street fair along Palm Canyon Drive between Baristo and Amado roads, will begin at 6 p.m. and close at 10 p.m. now that fall has arrived, according to city spokeswoman Cindy Uken.
A 16-year tradition, Villagefest is consistently voted the best event in the area, attracting thousands of visitors each week, according to Uken.
The event offers shopping along Palm Canyon Drive as well as food and live entertainment. Shops, galleries and restaurants stay open late.
Palm Canyon Drive will shut down at 5 p.m. and reopen at 11 p.m.
