Car Crash With Tree Kills 3 In Palm Springs
Three people havedied while another person isin critical condition afterthe vehicle they were in crashed into a tree in Palm Springs earlyWednesday morning.
Authorities responded to the car collision in the 200 block of East Palm Canyon around 2:15 AM.
Officers found four people inside the wrecked vehicle. Firefighters used the jaws of life to reach the victims inside.
Two of the four people were pronounced dead at the scene. A third person later died at Desert Regional Medical Center.
A fourth person is in critical condition at the Desert Regional.
Officers are investigating if the crash was alcohol-related.
Police closed East Palm Canyon in both directions until 7 Wednesday morning.
