Master Control/Audio Operator (KRDO, Colorado Springs)

KRDO TV is looking for a Master Control/Audio Operator. The MCO is responsible for playback and quality control of all programming along with commercial insertion. Also, acts as Audio Operator and occasionally CG Operator during newscasts.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Record and playback of network and syndicated programming; ingest commercials and promos into the system for air; maintain daily FCC log with local commercial insertion times; report discrepancies on the log or with programming on the discrepancy report computer; utilize the EAS equipment to run tests and log entries as required by the FCC; keep station on time during shift; run local news and severe weather crawls and air news and weather cut-ins.

Applicants must have a at least a two-year degree in Television Production or equivalent experience and one to two years experience in audio or television production. The successful candidate will be detail oriented; have a working knowledge of broadcast and audio equipment; basic computer knowledge; good verbal skills and an ability to perform as a team player.
