The director of a local Boys and Girls Club is out of a job, andhe claims his firing was politically-motivated.

“It was my efforts. The $2 million appropriation from Congressman [Jerry] Lewis and also my efforts to getthree acres of land from County Supervisor Marion Ashley that got us to the point to do this merger,” Sanchez said.”Soat this time whenI have done all this work, i’m being told that my services are not needed.”
