DHS Man Shot Dead, Multiple Suspects Sought
A man was shot and killed Monday afternoon in a Desert Hot Springs home and police are searching for at least three suspects in the man’s murder, police said.
Police reported the shooting at a residents on Calle Azeteca and Avenida Hermosa around 3:30 p.m.
According to investigators, three or four men broke into the home and shot Samuel Raye Cotton to death. No motive was given for the shooting.
Officers are looking for the suspects — black men in their 20s — who took off in a blue sport-utility vehicle with chrome wheels.
