Banning Man Identified As Driver Killed In I-10 Rollover

INDIO – Authorities have identified a driver killed in a rollover crash on Interstate 10 in the East Valley early Wednesday morning.

California Highway Patrol said Manual Baltazar, 26, of Banning, was driving his pickup truck on the eastbound I-10 just past the Golf Center Parkway exit around 4:45 a.m. when he started drifting towards the center median.

The driver lost control trying to get back into lanes of traffic when he ended up rolling several times.

Authorities say he was not wearing his seatbelt and was thrown from his vehicle. He died at the scene.
