Parents Of Missing Teen Arrested In Hemet Case

HEMET – A press conference has been scheduled for 11am today to address new developments in the case of two missing teenagers from Hemet.

Jose and Maria Seym were arrested late Thursday in connection with a murder investigation, which started after police found a severed foot and bloody, burnt clothing at the home on Bluejay Way, the Press-Enterprise reported on its Web site.

Their son Jose Campos and his friend Adrian Ross have been missing since November 15. Police responded to a home in Hemet on the 17th, where they found charred human remains buried in the backyard, along with a machete and clothing.

A third teenager who was reported missing showed up the same day at the police station with her mother, unharmed.

A Riverside County news organization is reporting the parents of one of the teens have been arrested.
