4.3 Magnitude Earthquake Rocks Coachella Valley
BEAUMONT – A 4.3 magnitude earthquake rocked the Coachella Valley early Saturday morning.
The USGS reports a magnitude 4.3 earthquake has struck in Beaumont. It happened at 4:03 a.m. centered 3 miles west, northwest of Beaumont.
The quake could be felt as far south as the Salton Sea area and as far west as the coast.
At least five aftershocks have been reported, the strongest being a magnitude 2.3 at 4:06 a.m.
There were no reports of damage or injuries.
The temblor follows another 4.1 that hit earlier this week.
