Accused Meth Dealer Busted In Calimesa
CALIMESA – A 42-year-old San Gabriel man is behind bars in Riverside County, suspected of selling methamphetamine in Calimesa, according to a sheriff’s spokesperson.
Louie Rosales, 42, of San Gabriel, was arrested shortly after 1:15 a.m. Friday when Calimesa Police officers stopped his car near the intersection of Calimesa Boulevard and Sandalwood Drive in Calimesa, according to Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Steve Fredericks.
Officers saw Rosales trying to conceal something in the floorboard of his car, and found a plastic bag under his shoe, Fredericks said.
Rosales was found with 7.2 grams of what police believe to be methamphetamine, packaged in several small bags, Fredericks said.
Police also found other items that indicated Rosales was planning to sell the drugs, he said.
The approximate street value of the drugs is $720, Fredericks said.
Rosales was arrested and taken to Robert Presley Detention Center, where he is being held on $50,000 bail.
