Interstate 10 Work Done For Today; More Coming
PALM DESERT – Commuters on Interstate 10 through Palm Desert and Cathedral City will get a reprieve for at least a couple days as crews work on repairing the roadway from the storms two weeks ago.
Monday’s commute had some drivers waiting in traffic logjams that spanned 30-to-45 minutes to get from one exit to the next.
Crews are done with their work for Monday, but CalTrans workers are now trying to get emergency money to come back and finish the job on Thursday. That means the commute headaches could return.
