‘Lambert Mania’ Hits Fantasy Springs Casino
INDIO – As of noon Monday, there were still about 1,500 tickets left to the Adam Lambert concert at Fantasy Springs Casino on February 27.
Even before tickets went on sale Friday, hundreds of fans had lined up outside the casino, and the hotel has already sold out its rooms for the weekend.
About 200 more tickets were sold on Sunday, raising the total to 1,950, while the venue holds 3,500 people, said the casino’s Ciara Coyle.
Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and tickets are also available online at www.fantasyspringsresort.com
Lambert came in second to Kris Allen on “American Idol” last May.
After the “Idol” competition he revealed he is gay, and sparked controversy at the recent American Music Awards for a sexually suggestive performance.
