Saturday: Another Rainy Day For The Desert

PALM DESERT -A new storm system is generating a second day of rain, today.prompting forecasters to issue a flash flood watch for parts of the region, including Hemet and Beaumont, and warn of potentially perilous conditions in the mountains.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Riverside and San Bernardino Mountains until 9pm on Saturday, as the snow level is expected to drop to 5,000 feet.

Saturday morning, a flash flood warning was in effect for parts of Riverside County, including Ontario, San Bernardino, and other cities in the northwestern parts of the county.
