Add one more item to your Saturday errand list: an H1N1 flu shot.

Free flu shots will be offered from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at malls in Riverside, Cabazon, Temecula, Corona and Rancho Mirage.

“We’re taking flu shots to the people,” said Dr. Eric Frykman, Riverside County’s public health officer.

Flu shots will be offered at the following malls:

· Riverside Plaza, 3545 Central Ave., Riverside, across the street from the movie theaters. Radio Lazer 101.7 will be on hand for a live broadcast. The radio station will be handing out free promotional items.

· Cabazon Outlets, 48750 Seminole Dr., Cabazon, in front of the Information Center.

· Promenade Temecula, 40820 Winchester Road, in front of the movie theaters.

· The Promenade Shops at Dos Lagos, 2780 Cabot Dr., Corona, next to White House Black Market and behind Trader Joe’s.

· The River at Rancho Mirage, 71-800 Highway 111, Rancho Mirage, next to the Verizon store.

The Cabazon, Corona and Rancho Mirage clinics will be held indoors. The Riverside and Temecula clinics are scheduled to be held outdoors and may be canceled due to inclement weather. Please visithere for the latest information.

Meanwhile, the H1N1 vaccine continues to be available for free at the county’s 10 family centers. The family care centers are open from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Centers are located in Banning, Corona, Hemet, Indio, Jurupa, Lake Elsinore, Palm Springs, Perris, Riverside and Rubidoux.
