Elyse Miller
Elyse Miller is the education reporter for News Channel 3 HD. She covers everything school-related. She works hard raising awareness about issues affecting our children. When there is something parents need to know about their children’s education, Elyse will have it covered.
The California Teacher’s Association honored Elyse in 2009 for her commitment and dedication to education. She was awarded the “John Swett Award for Media Excellence” ( the highest honor the CTA can bestow upon members of the media).
Elyse came to KESQ-TV in 2008, from KKCO-TV in Grand Junction, Colorado where we worked as a news reporter. That’s where she met her husband, Sports Director Chris Miller. Elyse is happy to be here in the valley, closer to her family. She grew up in Phoenix and graduated from Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism.
Before becoming a reporter, Elyse spent six years as a personal trainer. She enjoyed helping her clients meet their fitness goals. She has a life-long passion for health and exercise and is a former fitness competitor. Elyse won several events including NPC Fitness Arizona, Muscle Beach and Hollywood’s Fitness America Pageant.
In her spare time, Elyse enjoys spending time with her husband. She also likes traveling, snowboarding, water skiing and exploring.
