Hemet Teen Murder Suspects Captured In Mexico
HEMET- After four months on the run, two murder suspects, 18 year-old Jose Manuel Campos and his girlfriend, Felicia Sharp are found in Mexicali, Mexico and arrested by authorities.
Hemet Police officers have been looking for the two since November.
Hemet Police Chief Richard Dana says, “We lost them for awhile, then about less than a month ago were able to confirm she was living down in Mexico. Hemet Police with the help of the U.S. Marshals arranged the arrest and extradition through the Mexican authorities.
Police say the two are responsible for the death of 17 year-old Adrian Rios.
Five people were at Campos’ house in November to watch a football game. Hemet Police say Campos shot and killed Rios with a .22 caliber gun, then burned his body in the backyard of his parents home on Bluejay Way in Hemet.
Chief Dana says Campos will be charged with murder and Sharp will be charged with accessory to murder. Police still do not have a motive for the murder.
