Hit-And-Run Driver Leaves 3-Year-Old Injured
Authorities today sought a hit-and-run driver in connection with a Coachella crash that left a 3-year-old child injured.
The child ran into the street and was struck around 5 p.m. Thursday in the 86100 block of Calle Geranio, said Sgt. Alan Northrup of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department. The child was treated for non-life threatening injuries, according to Northrup.
The motorist was behind the wheel of a burgundy or maroon sport utility vehicle, Northrup said.
