Director of Sales, KRDO-TV, Colorado Springs, CO
KRDO is looking for a Director of Sales to oversee Sales revenue for NewsChannel 13 Television, KRDO News Radio 105.5 FM and 1240 AM, KTLO Telemundo and KRDO.com. This position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on the front range of the Rocky Mountains.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Specific duties include but are not limited to: Managing inventory; evaluating pacing; developing sales strategies, supervising and evaluating performance of the Sales Management team; evaluating station revenue performance against the market; maintaining rate card; focusing on New Direct business; defining commission structures; and overseeing the budget process. The Director of Sales also handles all National sales and deals with our national rep firm and agencies; inventory control and pricing; making local contacts; and approving orders for processing.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have 5 to 10 years experience in a sales management role and a highly motivated personality with great interpersonal skills. Solid written and verbal communication skills are a must. Media Sales experience preferred. Successful candidate must pass a drug test and background check.
