ABC Soap Stars To Appear At “Stagecoach Festival”

For the second year in a row, ABC Daytime and SOAPnet will be the presenting sponsor of the 2010 Stagecoach Country Music Festival powered by Toyota. The event, held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, is a part of ABC Daytime and SOAPnet?s Soap Nation Tour, an ongoing initiative to bring the stars to more fans in more cities more often.

Actors from ?All My Children?, ?General Hospital? and ?One Life to Live? will hold autograph sessions, run giveaways and raffles and offer visitors the chance to relax with manicures and massages through the Soap Nation mini-spa. Talent confirmed to attend (subject to change and in alphabetical order) include Bobbie Eakes, Melissa Claire Egan, Vincent Irizarry and Michael E. Knight from ?All My Children,? Kristen Alderson, Brandon Buddy, Kassie De Paiva, Hillary B. Smith, Bree Williamson and Robert S. Woods from ?One Life to Live,? and Bradford Anderson, Brandon Barash, Steve Burton, Jason Thompson and Laura Wright from ?General Hospital.?

?After last year?s successful partnership with one of the pre-eminent country music festivals, it was logical for the networks to return to Stagecoach for another year,? said Adam Rockmore, senior vice president, ABC Daytime and SOAPnet Marketing. ?With a top-notch slate of music performers coupled with more daytime talent to interact and mingle with our devoted fans, this year promises to be bigger and better.?

Stagecoach, California?s Country Music Festival, features a mix of artists from the genres of mainstream country, bluegrass, folk, roots rock and alt-country performing on multiple stages. The now critically acclaimed gathering also includes a variety of activities, including a leading BBQ competition and expanded camping area with amenities exclusive to campers. This year?s lineup features some of some top talent in the country music world today.
