Boys And Girls Club Coming To Mecca

The community of Mecca is in desperate need of good news. It’s population is booming, but business is not.

Riverside County officials expect the 2010 Census to show at least a doubling of the population in comparison to 2000. However, the unemployment rate is 28.6 percent.

Residents are hopeful that the announcement of a new Boys and Girls Club of Coachella Valley on Monday, April 12, will spark business.
