Recount Begins in Rancho Mirage City Council Race
Hundreds of ballots will be recounted by hand, today.
Tabulators will finally decide the winner of a very close Rancho Mirage city council race.
Scott Hines leads Ira Laufer for the third and final council seat.
Laufer asked for the recount.
It began at nine this morning at the Registrar of Voters Office in Riverside with four people doing the counting.
