4.4 Magnitude Earthquake Rattles Southern California

The United States Geological Survey reports a 4.4 magnitude earthquake hit just southwest of the Salton Sea, this morning.

The temblor hit at 10:51am about 17 miles west-southwest of Calexico, the epicenter of the Easter Sunday earthquake.

Early reports from the USGS show the quake was felt as far away as Poway, a suburb of San Diego.

There are no reports of damage or injuries.
