Palm Springs Police Work Around The Clock On Murder Case
“To see one of her sons like that, I mean it’s killing her, it’s killing her,” said Brian Ogle.
He said he came home Tuesday morning to police and a trail of blood leading to his mother’s home.
Someone shot his brother, 47-year-old William “Brad” Ogle.
It happened right in front of his mother’s house, right in front of her eyes.
But, Brian said someone shot his brother in the back after an argument.
Brad Ogle died in his mother’s arms.
“I’m just trying to help her out. Just trying to help her out. Trying to stay strong for her,” said Ogle.
Both brothers lived with their mother to help take care of her.
She can’t remember the shooting.
Neighbors gave police as much as information they could.
But officers aren’t releasing any of those details, including how many suspects or their descriptions.
Family members say police have footage from a security camera Brad set up in front of his mother’s house.
“I’m having faith in the police that they are going to solve it in no time, so I’m just sitting back taking care of my mom and worrying about her. That’s all I’ve got to take care of right now,” said Ogle.
Paul Gillings lives down the road. He’s going to miss his friend of nearly 20 years.
“He was my partner, he was my best dog. We ran together, we’d go to parties together. But I’m gonna miss him. I’m gonna miss him. He’s a good guy,” said Gillings.
The family says they’ll hold a car wash to help pay for Ogle’s funeral at the Palm Springs High School on Saturday at 6 a.m.
If you have any information on the murder, please call the police.
