Barbara Walters Out Of Surgery

A spokeswoman for ABC’s Barbara Walters says the host of “The View” is out of surgery.

As we reported earlier this week, Walters announced that she was going in for heart surgery to repair a valve.

The spokesperson released the following statement: “Barbara Walters’ surgery went well, and the doctors are very pleased with the outcome. Ms. Walters is recovering as expected. No further statements will be made at this time.”
