Two Burglaries Hit Different Ends Of The Coachella Valley

Responding to a call from a neighbor, Palm Springs police were able to not only stop a burglary from happening Friday morning, they were able to recover the things taken from the home.
The neighbor called police around 11:30am, saying they say people breaking into a home on the 1800 block of Alejo Drive.
A News Channel 3 news crew talked to police on the scene, who say they caught three suspects: one adult and two teenagers.
Police say they were stealing flat screen televisions, electronics, and cell phones.
Desert Hot Springs
A burglar stole jewelry from a Kmart store in Desert Hot Springs early today, police reported.
Officers responded at 2:56 a.m. to a burglary alarm at the Kmart at Palm Drive and Two Bunch Palms Trail, said Sgt. Dan Bressler of the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
Investigators determined the burglar smashed a window at the front of the store, broke the glass on three jewelry displays and put the items in a black bag before leaving, Bressler said.
It was not immediately known how much jewelry was taken, he said. A suspect description was not available.
