Power Outage Hits Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage

About 300 homes in Cathedral City and Rancho Mirage lost power Wednesday night as temperatures reached into the upper 90s, according to Southern California Edison.

Power was restored at 6:30pm to all but 91 households.

SCE estimates power should be restored by noon on Thursday.
