Small Earthquake Rumbles Through Desert

There was some shaking overnight, maybe you felt it.

News Channel 3 got several calls into our newsroom after a 2.8 magnitude earthquake hit the area at 12:30am.

The epicenter was located 6 miles northeast of Thousand Palms, and just east of Desert Hot Springs near Sky Valley.

There are no reports of damage of injuries.
