Classic Homes Sold To H K Lane Real Estate

One of Palm Springs smaller realty offices has a new sign on their door tonight, SOLD. Classic Homes, INC told News Channel 3 they were acquired by H K Lane Real Estate on Tuesday.

The terms of the sale were not given.

Owners Charles Long and Leonard Grotto will stay on as agents working for the new company. Classic Homes was a small real estate firm that began in San Francisco in 1979. Grotto and Long brought the office to Palm Springs in 1990.

H K Lane opened its first office in Palm Desert last July, and now have expanded to 3 offices, covering the valley. H K Lane says they now employ 140 agents, 30 of those at the Palm Springs location.

They hope to hire another 20 agents in the coming months.
