Highway 111 At Jefferson Back Open After Rollover Accident
Crews had to shut down eastbound lanes around the intersection of Highway 111 and Jefferson on the La Quinta/Indio border, this morning, after a car flipped over.
Riverside County Sheriff deputies say the accident involved an SUV and sedan.
They say the sedan failed to stop in the intersection and then crashed into the SUV. The SUV flipped.
It looks like there were only minor injuries.
Sheriffs deputies say traffic lights at the intersection were flashing when the accident happened, but they don’t know why.
