Ten Riverside County residents suspected of selling heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine were behind bars today, a sheriff’s sergeant said.

Investigators with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration served search warrants in Perris, Lake Elsinore and Menifee Wednesday following an investigation that began in January, said Sgt. Don Sharp.

During the raids, investigators seized eight pounds of heroin, 29 pounds of cocaine, 10 firearms and 10 vehicles with hidden compartments used to smuggle drugs, Sharp said.

In addition, 13 children were removed from homes where alleged drug activity was taking place, he said.

Those arrested and booked into the Southwest Detention Center in French Valley were: Mario Landeros, 51, and Lorena Villarreal, 34, of Perris; Jesus Beltran, 25, Chris Entzminger, 30, Brenda Partida, 26, Dora Nieves, 51, Carlos Aguila, 33, and Stanley Adam, 50, of Lake Elsinore; and Arturo Flores, 27, and Mariela Montoya-Esquer, 23, of Menifee.

More arrests are anticipated, Sharp said.
