Two Earthquakes Rumble Through Coachella Valley

The U.S. Geological Survey says a 4.9 magnitude earthquake and a 4.5 quake hit just outside of Anza Saturday night, rocking a large section of Southern California

The quakes hit at 8:08pm and 8:09pm, and calls flooded into KESQ News Channel 3 to see what was happening. According to the USGS website, the quakes hit within 25 seconds of each other.

According to the USGS shakemap, the quakes were centered 32 miles south-southeast of Palm Springs, and were felt throughout Southern California, especially in the Coachella Valley and San Diego.

There are no reports of damage or injuries.
