Jeremy London Wanted By Riverside County Sheriff’s Department
A day after actor Jeremy London’s claims of 3 men kidnapping him in Palm Springs came to light, there is new information coming out.
The website, Radar Online, which first broke the story, now reports London is a wanted by the police.
KESQ confirms in 2004, London got caught, and was convicted of driving while intoxicated.
While still on probation, police charged him in with driving without a license when he was caught in Riverside County in January. The case was filed January 27 this year.
When he didn’t show up in court on that charge, the judge issued a bench warrant for his arrest.
Despite a lengthy police interview last week, London was not arrested by police.
A Palm Springs Police spokesperson told News Channel 3, “As is the case with any misdemeanor warrant, officers would have the discretion on whether to take a subject into custody. Our priority at that time was obviously locating and taking into custody an armed suspect… I am not aware of plans to contact London.”
Meanwhile, one of the men London claims kidnapped him remains in jail, today, and has a list of previous convictions in Riverside County.
Brandon Ray Adams was convicted of public intoxication in 2006. Two years later, he was arrested for child molestation, but those charges were dismissed.
He was also charged with battery and found guilty.
Last year, police arrested Adams for shoplifting. The case is still open.
