Road Construction Creates Traffic Headaches In Valley

Starting today, Golf Center Parkway will be shut down from Avenue 45 to Indio Springs Parkway.

The 7am to 4pm closure will last through Wednesday. The Interstate 10 on-and-off-ramps will also be closed periodically during construction at Golf Center.

Crews are resurfacing the pavement, there. Detours will be posted, and you’re advised to take alternate routes such as Jackson.

Another traffic alert – the intersection of Clinton and Fred Waring Drive will be closed down Monday through July 3.

Crews are widening and improving Clinton Street between Fred Waring and Miles Avenue.

Construction is set to be completed by August 28th before the start of school.
