London claimed 26-year-old Brandon Adams kidnapped him after helping change a tire on Palm Canyon last Thursday. He claims Adams and some other men forced him to drive around the city, purchase alcohol, and smoke drugs. Adams was arrested on Friday.
Speaking to an online blog, and picked up by Fox News, the attorney for Adams says he’s sure his client will walk away from all of this.
?Mr. Adams was helping Mr. London change a flat tire. A police officer witnessed Mr. Adams helping Mr. London,? said Riverside County Attorney Gregory Geist.. ?Mr. London was with Mr. Adams voluntarily, they had partied together [on the evening of the alleged abduction.] An investigation is currently pending and I?m confident that a jury will find that the allegations are just not true.?
London stands by his story, though.
In a video interview posted on radaronline.com, this morning, London says the experience he had in Palm Springs was frightening.
Fox News reports, last year London completed rehabilitation treatment for a battle with prescription pills, and in 2004 was arrested for carrying controlled substances and driving without a license.
Since the kidnapping allegations have surfaced, TMZ reported that London issued several members of his family ?cease and desist? letters to prohibit them from speaking publicly about the matter.
