90 Acre Fire Fully Contained Near Hemet

Firefighters are watching some hot spots, but have fully contained a 90-acre wildfire near Hemet and Anza.

It broke out Tuesday afternoon near Old Ranch and Sage Roads.

The fire was fully contained as of 10pm Tuesday night.

Investigators say the cause appears to have been kids playing with fire.

Nearly 200 firefighters were working the fire at its height along with a helicopter and five aerial tankers.

Two engines and three fires crews will be on the scene today.

No injuries were reported, no homes were ever threatened.
