Man Nearly Drowns In Desert Hot Springs Pool

Correcting earlier information they released, Cal Fire now says a man, not a child, was rushed to a hospital today after being found in a pool at a Desert Hot Springs country club, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

He was plucked from the pool around 11:40 a.m. at the Mission Lakes Country Club at 8484 Clubhouse Blvd., said fire department spokeswoman Cheri Patterson.

She said paramedics performed CPR, and transported him.
