All Lanes Of Highway 60 Blocked After Cement Truck Overturns

A cement truck overturned on the westbound Moreno Valley (60) Freeway this afternoon, blocking all lanes and severely snarling traffic.

The non-injury accident was reported around 2:25 p.m. near the Redlands Boulevard off-ramp, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The driver of the cement mixer lost control for unknown reasons, causing the rig to roll, but CHP units reported the rig had not spilled its load or any significant amount of fluids.

Westbound motorists were being diverted into Moreno Valley at Redlands and at Theodore Street.

A Sigalert was expected to remain in effect for the next several hours.
