Cabazon Outlets Store Held Up By Two Gunmen

Two gunmen who robbed a store at the Cabazon Outlets remained at large today, a sheriff’s sergeant said.

The robbery was reported about 5 p.m. Wednesday at the sprawling outlet mall at 48650 Seminole Drive, according to Sgt. Sean Bahash of the Cabazon sheriff’s station.

The victim told deputies the gunmen walked into the store, demanded money from the cash register and fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash through the outlet parking lot.

No one was harmed during the robbery, Bahash said.

Both of the suspects were described as black, 5-foot-8 and 180 pounds.

One of the men is about 29 years old, with a long ponytail and wearing a black T-shirt and black pants.

The other is about 23 years old and was wearing dark sunglasses, a red shirt, blue jean shorts and red tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about the heist was asked to call the Cabazon Station at (951) 922-7100.
