Hemet Father Arrested For Baby’s Death
A father faced murder charges Thursday, after his 3-month-old daughter died at Loma Linda Medical Center, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies from the Hemet Sheriff’s Station told News Channel 3 they went to Hemet Valley Hospital on July 27 after members of the staff suspected an infant’s brain injuries were the result of child abuse.
The baby was flown to Loma Linda Medical Center for treatment, where doctors said they did not expect the child to survive. She died on Thursday.
The baby’s father, 31-year-old Jason Moore of Hemet, was arrested and booked at the Southwest Detention Center in Murrieta.
