Task Force Seizes 217 Marijuana Plants In Palm Springs
Palm Springs Police and several other law enforcement agencies raided a home in Palm Springs on Wednesday and confiscated 217 marijuana plants, according to a news release from the Coachella Valley Narcotics Task Force.
Agents served a search warrant at 650 W. Ramon Road, near the base of Mt. San Jacinto at 7 a.m. Task force members discovered marijuana growing outside the location, which is a sprawling, gated home.
All of the marijuana plants that were seized were destroyed, according to Palm Springs Police spokeswoman Melissa Demarais.
So far, no arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing and charges will be filed with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office, Demarais said.
