Flash Flood Warning Issued For Southwest Riverside County

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood warning for extreme southwestern Riverside County and north-central San Diego County until 4 p.m.

At 2:30 p.m., the NWS doppler radar indicated very heavy rains which would likely produce flash flooding over an area that included Palomar Mountain, Mesa Grande and 5 miles east of Aguanga.

The area is rougly 59 miles southwest of Palm Springs.
