Brush Fire Erupts Off Interstate 10 In Banning

A large brush fire has erupted just south of Interstate 10 in Banning, according to Cal Fire.

Firefighters from Cal Fire and the Riverside County Fire Department are responding to the fire near the intersection of Long Horn Road and Old Banning/Idyllwild Road, where smoke can be seen from the freeway.

There are no reports of structures being threatened at this time.
