Hazardous Materials Spill Shuts Down East Palm Canyon
Palm Springs police were on the scene of a hazardous materials spill near the intersection of Gene Autry and East Palm Canyon Drive, according to patrol officer Mitch Spike.
Police hut down East Palm Canyon between Broadmoor and Golf Club Way.
Palm Springs fire crews tell News Channel 3 the driver of a pool truck blew a tire, lost control and spilled acid and chlorine onto the roadway.
The roadway was re-opened by 11 a.m.
There were no reports of any injuries.
