Police Search For Car Burglary Suspects
Indio police and the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department were searching for two men wanted for breaking into cars and stealing some of the contents inside.
The thefts reportedly happened in Palm Desert on Thursday morning.
Around 9:30 a.m., Indio police and Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies said they possibly spotted the suspects in the area of Date Palm Avenue and Ash Street in Indio.
The two men bailed from their car, police said, and ran into a housing complex. Police set up a perimeter, but the men managed to get away.
