Condo Fire Causes $70,000 In Damage

A fire caused about $70,000 in damage to a Palm Springs condominium today, but no one was hurt.

The blaze was reported at 8:02 a.m. at 1050 E. Ramon Road, Palm Springs Fire Battalion Chief Sang Pao Wang said.

Firefighters put out the flames in less than 20 minutes and contained the fire to the living room, he said.

The cause was under investigation.
