Lindsay Lohan Caught Trying To Sneak Out Of Betty Ford Clinic

Lindsay Lohan was caught trying to sneak out of a Rancho Mirage rehab facility this week in an apparent attempt to get a caffeine fix, according to an online report.

The 24-year-old actress, who is in drug treatment at the Betty Ford Center, was trying to get to nearby Eisenhower Medical Center to buy a soda from a vending machine, according to a report on the celebrity news website RadarOnline.

But the attempt was foiled when her accomplice’s clothing got caught on a fence, according to the website.

Lohan — the star of “The Parent Trap” and “Freaky Friday” — and the other patient had to ask for help from a volunteer, who was passing by in a golf cart, the website reported. They were returned to the center without caffeine.

The Betty Ford Center does not have vending machines and prohibits caffeine and television.

Last month, Lohan was ordered by Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Elden Fox to be jailed for a month without bail for failing a drug test. Hours later, another judge allowed her to post $300,000 bail, and she was released pending an Oct. 22 probation violation hearing.

The actress was ordered to wear an alcohol-sniffing SCRAM anklet; to avoid alcohol and stay out of bars; to allow authorities to search her residence without a warrant; and to submit to more random drug tests. Lohan later checked in to the Betty Ford Center.

This is Lohan’s fifth stint in rehab.
