Man Shot Twice In Overnight Shooting In Indio

A 23-year-old man was in the hospital Friday, after an early morning shooting.

According to Indio Police, the shooting happened at 12:51 a.m. at the Circle K on Madison near Highway 111.

The victim suffered from 2 gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

Police said the shooting happened after an argument at Neil’s Lounge in Indio, and it continued as they went to Circle K.

Police arrested two people after finding the getaway car described by witnesses.

Eusebio Canero, 33, of Indio and Sabrina Morales, 39, of Indio were arrested.

A firearm was located inside the car they were in. They now face potential charges of assault with a deadly weapon and could face other charges.
